Federal Tax Credits for Energy Efficiency

Thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act, federal income tax credits are available through 2032 for home efficiency improvements to help you and your family be part of the clean energy future, while saving on your energy bill and enjoying a more comfortable home. These credits cover 30% of the cost of the efficiency improvement, up to $3,200 per year, for things like heat pump HVAC, heat pump water heaters, improved insulation, and high performing windows. Products in relevant categories that earn the ENERGY STAR label or ENERGY STAR Most Efficient recognition are eligible.
